Ratings and Reviews
Thanks!
I don't review apps or write reviews, merely your app deserves information technology for being and then uncomplicated to us and outputting really loftier quality GIFs. Subsequently spending all 24-hour interval searching for iOS or MacOS apps to convert my 4K footage to loftier resolution GIFS, I finally stumbled upon your app and I could not exist happier. I already practise all of my editing in FinalCut, merely I needed something to catechumen my edits into GIFs. iOS apps were atrocious and had paid subscriptions. Websites similar Giphy cushed the video quality. Your app was drag & drop, specify desired output, and and so convert. For something every bit unproblematic as making a GIF, the whole marker collectively lost their minds. You are wonderful and made a really great app. Cheers. Cheers. Thanks!
Simple and superb
I make a lot of curt screen recodings for my chore that I demand to turn into GIFs. I've tried a few apps, both free and paid. All of them were clunky, overly complex, ho-hum, or produced ugly GIFs—or all of the above. Gifski is a breath of fresh air. It fits my workflow perfectly, information technology'southward fast, it offers but the configuration options I need, and the quality of the GIFs it produces is, somehow, nigh as good as the original videos. And it'south free! I can't recommend information technology enough, and I'll definitely be donating some money to support its evolution.
Smashing, best I've found, needs a couple more features and modest fixes
I only utilise this app for GIFs now because the quality is hands the all-time I've found. The settings yous cull are not persistent, so each prune I need to process, I have to reset the framerate. The quality appears to stick most of the fourth dimension. There are a few annoyances, such as when I've process and Saved Equally . . . why does it stay on that screen? You accept to click an pointer to get back to the settings. Minor. IF I could wish for i feature, I'd merely ask for a batch process window - drop in my similar files, process them withal manner, maybe pre-select a salvage every bit location. What do you think? Doable?
The quality should always exist remembered. In the latest update (two.20.2), the FPS setting is at present also remembered. Gifski stays on the "conversion completed" screen as we don't want to assume what the user wants. The user may desire to save information technology multiple times to dissimilar locations. It's also unclear to me why yous would desire it to go dorsum to the settings screen (?). In example y'all did not already know, you tin drag & drop a new video onto the "conversion completed" screen to start with a new video. Batch processing is something I desire to do, but it'southward volition require larger changes to Gifski and it's non something I will take time to practice in the near feature. I take to prioritize more than pop requests. Email me at sindresorhus@gmail.com and I'd exist happy to discuss Gifski improvements.
